Executive Assistant

Part-time paid position

WCI is looking for a new Executive Assistant to support our executive team. You will assist the President and Executive Manager in daily operations such as scheduling, organizing travel and accommodation, creating reports, and other organizational tasks. To properly execute this role you should have a detailed understanding of Outlook 365 email, be an organized multi-tasker, and pay great attention to detail. This position requires at least 15 hours per week and is based out of WCI’s headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the President in her communications and outreach, primarily via email
  • Coordinating and managing the President’s schedule and travel
  • Help the President prepare for meetings, such as creating informative briefing documents
  • Filing and retrieving organizational records, documents and reports
  • Answering phone calls
  • Provide assistance to the Executive Manager in research, grant writing and program support

Requirements include:

  • Attention to detail required
  • Ability to multi-task required
  • Relevant administrative support experience preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities required
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment required
  • Problem solving and strong decision-making skills required
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills required
  • Passion for women’s empowerment and international relations preferred
